New Satellite Video Shows China Pollution Vanishing During COVID-19 Lockdown—Then Coming Back
In China, the death toll from Covid 19 has flattened out. The average over the December to March time period was 55 people per day.
But the death toll from the pollution that will resume is over 3,000 people per day.
That means that pollution is 55 x more deadly than Covid 19.
Imagine if we put as much effort into reducing pollution, as we are investing in stopping Covid 19.
The European Space Agency released a new video this weekend that shows air pollution vanishing over China as the country goes into COVID-19 coronavirus lockdown, then returning as business resumes.
